Rebecca O'Mara

Irish born, Rebecca grew up in South County Dublin. Daughter of Stephen and Veronica Jane O'Mara, sister of Jason and Stephen James. She attended Holy Child School, Killiney and later got her degree in Drama and Theatre at Trinity College Dublin. On graduating, she moved to London and worked in film production for some years. In 2004, she began her classical acting training at LAMDA.
In recent years, she has moved from her critically acclaimed work in theatre and voice over into higher profile screen projects. She is known as a versatile character actor who continues to carve out a unique space across genres in television and cinema. She is known for: Anniversary (2025), Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024) and Hidden Assets (2025).
