  • Robert Rønning is a Norwegian film director known for Sorg (2007), Writing on the Wall (2014) and The Sandcastle (2014).

    In March 2014, he was awarded a Rising Star Award at the Canada International Film Festival for his short film Den siste dansen (2013).

    The same year his short film trilogy Writing on the Wall (2014) made the headline news in Norway because of his choice of lead actresses.

    His short documentary Veien mot drømmekroppen (2013) went viral on YouTube shortly after it's release in 2013.

    In addition to films he has also directed numerous commercials and music videos. In 2015 he directed the music video for Alexandra Joner's contribution to the Norwegian finale of Eurovision Song Contest, "Cinderella".

    In 2017 he finalized his first feature length documentary "Crohnprinsessen", a film about Ingrid Anette Hoff Melkersen who in 1998 was diagnosed with Crohn's disease.
