Laure de Butler studied cinema at the Sorbonne Nouvelle, in Paris.
After several years working as an assistant director, she became a director known for La Promesse (2020), Syndrome E (2021), 37 Secondes (2025) and Irresistible ( 2023). She won several prices on french and european festivals. She currently lives in Paris.
