- Linda Mutawi is an award-winning Jordanian-Swedish producer with Palestinian roots and over 23 years of experience in the global film industry. She is the co-founder of Fikra, a Stockholm-based production company dedicated to cross-cultural storytelling between Scandinavia and the Middle East. Linda has produced numerous feature films and documentaries, most notably collaborating with acclaimed Swedish-Egyptian director Tarik Saleh on his Cairo Trilogy. Their latest film, Eagles of the Republic, won Best Film at the 2026 Guldbagge Awards, Sweden's highest film honor, along with five additional awards. The film premiered in the main competition at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Palme d'Or, and served as Sweden's official submission to the 2026 Academy Awards.
Previously, Linda played a pivotal role in shaping Jordan's film industry as Head of Production Services at the Royal Film Commission, managing international co-productions and launching the Jordan Film Fund. A graduate of the Producers Guild of America Diversity Workshop and the EAVE Producers Workshop, Linda is also an active voice in the industry. She frequently speaks at international conferences, serves on festival juries and selection committees, and advocates for inclusive, globally resonant storytelling.
