Yli-Luopa's expertise is grounded in genre cinema, from action-packed battles to absurd, splatter-filled horror. Her award-winning makeup design can be seen in films such as Sisu, Unknown Soldier, Valhalla, and Helsinki Mansplaining Massacre. She has received four Jussi Awards for Best Makeup and several international nominations and awards.
