Melissa Fisher is an award-winning director, writer, and multi-hyphenate in the industry with over 15 years of experience on Academy Award-winning sets such as Damien Chazelle’s "La La Land" and "First Man", and Emmy Award-winning shows like "GLOW" and "The Dropout". Fisher’s directorial work marries poetic imagery and technical craft to create emotionally evocative drama. Her recent short film "Buscando Alma" won numerous awards including the Oscar-Qualifying Jury Award at the Out On Film Festival making it eligible for the 2025 Academy Awards. Fisher a member of the International Cinematographer's Guild, an alumni of the AFI DWW+ fellowship, and a graduate of Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts.
