Aamira Martinez is a Cuban-American Actress based in New York City. She is a graduate of the William Esper Studio Two-Year Acting Conservatory Program and has continued her studies at the Maggie Flanigan Studio, the Terry Knickerbocker Studio, and with Bob Krakower. She is active in both Los Angeles and New York City.

Aamira Martinez was born in Miami, Florida. Her parents were Cuban immigrants who came to the United States for the opportunity to give their children a better life.

Aamira knew she wanted to be an actress after she was cast as the Witch in her first-grade Halloween play. She became active in community theater and filmed her first commercial at the age of 15 for Coca-Cola. Aamira continued her acting pursuits throughout high school as part of the drama club, which won accolades in the Georgia State One-Act Play Competition and was nominated for a Governor's Honors Award in Drama. Aamira then set her sights on New York City, where she studied at several prestigious studios, including the Maggie Flanigan Studio, Terry Knickerbocker Studio, and William Esper Studio, where she completed the Two Year Acting Conservatory Program.

Not one to sit and wait for opportunities, Aamira began booking work in indie films, television, and commercials, including Verizon, NFL Shop, and Investigation Discovery. She co-produced the theatrical revival of the play Be a Good Little Widow to which she received rave reviews. Her passion has always been in indie films, and in 2019 she started her own production company, Calle8 Films. She has written/co-written and produced several short films, including Mari and Roni, Adulting, and When We First Met (pre-production).

Aamira's love for storytelling has inspired her work to shine a light on marginalized groups and communities, highlighting the struggles and difficulties they face in today's society, and sharing their stories to connect us on a human level. She is currently pursuing work in the States, but dreams of one day working in the UK.
