Biography

Suteara Vaughn is a Thai-American actress and producer known for her recurring role as Ariel on Showtime’s Shameless. She has also appeared on TNT’s Animal Kingdom and stars in the feature film The Girl in the Pool opposite Freddie Prinze Jr. and Monica Potter. Her additional work includes Clowning, Natural Disasters, and Ashley Avis’s coming-of-age drama Adolescence.

Born in Chicago and raised in Whittier, California, Vaughn began acting at age seven and continued her training through Pasadena City College (A.A. Theatre Arts), Cal State Fullerton (B.A. Theatre Arts), and is currently completing her MFA in Television, Film, and Theatre at Cal State LA.

Beyond acting, Vaughn has worked behind the camera as an associate producer, music supervisor, and casting associate, contributing to projects such as Boys Before Friends, Clubbin’, Adolescence, and Deserted. She is also a licensed real estate agent in Southern California.

Suteara Vaughn is a classically trained chef and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in 2010.

Suteara Vaughn had a Yamaha R6 at the age of 17. She road with an all chick crew called The Biker Dolls.
