She is an actress, known for Kak kazaki (2009), Eurovision Song Contest (1956) and Fabrika zvezd (2002). She has been married to Aleksandr since 2013. They have one child. She was previously married to Nuri Kukhilava.

On August 31, 2014 the Russian television channel NTV aired a show titled "17 Friends of the Junta" which targeted Prikhodko and other critics of Russia's actions in Ukraine. In September 2015 Prikhodko admitted that because of her boycott of Russia her earnings have greatly reduced because half of her concerts used to take place in Russia.
