Izzy Mant is a writer of television drama and comedy. She's also worked as a comedian, script editor and producer.
She was on the BBC Drama Pilot scheme for 2023-24, and has developed her own projects with Various Artists Limited, Company Pictures, Genial Productions and ITV Studios America. She was Story Producer and wrote additional material for Trying (2020) for Apple TV+. She's a winner of the BAFTA Rocliffe Comedy Showcase and Shore Scripts Feature Contest. Her hour long stand-up show, Polite Club, debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019. "Engaging, intelligent and unflinchingly honest!" - The List. As a producer her credits include GameFace (2017) (Season 2 - 2019), Cuckoo (2012), starring Andie MacDowell (Season 5 - 2019), The Windsors (2016) (2016-2017), and Peep Show (2003) (Season 5 - 2008).
Izzy studied Psychology and Philosophy at Oxford University. Her interest in telling stories was first formed as a young dancer, including training as a Junior Associate of the Royal Ballet in London. She has also directed theatre and live comedy.
