Biography

Lotte Heijtenis was born on May 27, 1977 in Belgium. She is an actress, known for Vermist (2008), Geldwolven (2022) and Zot van A. (2010).

She adapted "Agatha" by Marguerite Duras and performed this play together with Yves De Pauw in a production by his theatre company Compagnie Lodewijk/Louis. Agatha was also revived in the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 seasons.

She holds a degree in Romance languages, studied Mexican literature for a year in Mexico City, pursued theater studies at the Sorbonne in Paris, and graduated from the Maastricht Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2007.

Lotte Heijtenis (sometimes written as Heytenis) is a Flemish actress, known to television audiences for the lead role in the television series Jes.

In early 2009, she took to the stage in Calais with "Jusqu'au désert". Theatre company Laika revived the production with the same actors in Antwerp in April 2009 as part of the Blok / Bloc cultural festival on Linkeroever, under the title "Tot in de woestijn". This production also ran for the three subsequent seasons.

She worked as a drama teacher in part-time arts education, and in the theatre she performed with theatre 'Onderhetvel' in "Kamer en de Man" and "Hebben/Zijn", and with the KVS in "Incendies".
