Tauquir Ahmed was born on 5 March 1966 in Dacca, East Pakistan [now in Dhaka, Bangladesh]. He is an actor and writer, known for Joyjatra (2004), The Unnamed (2016) and Haldaa (2017). He has been married to Bipasha Hayat since 23 July 1999.
