Biography

Anna Yosin is an Arizona native where she got her start in acting through school and in college. She has a BA in Theatre with a minor in Music from the University of Arizona. She studied abroad for a semester at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England.

Anna comes from a theatre background and has been acting since high school. She did many plays through out school and a few on the Los Angeles Stage, namely, Kate in "Dancing at Lughnasa" and her one woman show "American History W" where she plays 15 different characters and brings 13 historical heroines to life. On the screen, Anna has acted in a handful of indie films and web based projects, such as "Nerd Girls", "Tale of Two Dragons", and "Back Alive", among others.

Anna is fantastic with characters and loves improv. She has studied with Steppenwolf West under the amazing Jeff Perry, Alexandra Billings, Kim Rubenstein and Eric Hunnicut, as well as at IO West and Second City and has been on a handful of improv teams over the past few years. She's a quirky girl around the way, a secretary who can't say no and the oracle that shops at 7-11 just like everyone else.

Anna is also a very talented stunt woman. Anna has performed as a stunt woman in a handful of indie movies such as Adam Marcus's "Secret Santa", Jon Braver's VR film "Delusion: Lies Within", and "Empress of the Evil Dead" among many others. (See resume for full list)

She played sports all through her childhood, lending a way to her interest in stunts. She played everything from Cheerleading to Wrestling, Ice Hockey, Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, Track and Cross Country. After school she began practicing martial arts, and has practiced Kung Fu, Kenpo, Capaiera, Boxing and Muay Thai, and was a personal trainer for many years, which is when she began training in stunts as well.
