Jamal Lloyd Johnson is an American actor known for his commanding screen presence, athletic physicality, and grounded performances across television and film. A theatre-trained performer standing 6’4", Johnson has appeared alongside acclaimed actors including Jennifer Garner, Christopher Meloni, Christian Slater, Christina Milian, and Nicole Beharie.

Received a black belt in Karate from the Shinjimasu International Karate Association in 2001 and competed in several martial arts tournaments across the country from 2000-2004, taking 1st place many times in sparring in the Heavy Weight Division until a knee injury concluded his competitions.

Has a Masters Degree in Sports and Fitness Management from The University of San Francisco.

Bears a tattoo of his fathers name on his left abdomen.
