Craig Langus

Biography

  • A graduate of American University in Washington DC, Craig Langus began his career as an NBC Page at 30 Rock in NYC. He worked in various departments before landing with Network Promotions. Craig worked in edit rooms in New York for nearly 10 years with NBC, Oxygen, Sci-Fi, A&E and The History Channel. He was trained in AVID and Final Cut software by these networks.

Ultimately, Craig embodied his passion for storytelling and decided to chase his dream of directing. After moving to Los Angeles, Sony Pictures brought him onto its feature film development unit. Over the next 13 years, Craig continued to use his growing skill base, creating his own material. He directed independent films while simultaneously rising through the production ranks on set. As a 2010 graduate of the DGA Trainee Program, Craig became a member of the Directors Guild of America. In the last two decades, he has led production teams on film & television projects alike in Los Angeles, New Mexico, Chicago and New York. His TV credits include successful shows "Prison Break," "24," "Heroes," "Glee," "Scandal," "How I Met Your Mother,"and "Chicago P.D." His feature films include "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," "The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button," "Iron Man 3," "Knight & Day," and "Cowboys & Aliens." He made his professional directorial debut in 2025 on "FBI: Most Wanted."

His ability to combine the knowledge of editorial, developmental, physical and creative production make Craig a true asset on the production team and in the director's chair.
