Biography

Phillip Ward was born and raised on a 650-acre farm in McLeansville, North Carolina. At age 16, he attended Ken Spence' s School of Professional Wrestling and began wrestling throughout the east coast until reaching Ted Turner's, World Championship Wrestling (WCW) at the age of 18. After several years of traveling and wrestling for numerous organizations he returned to school earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting from Elon University. He then attended Yo San University in Los Angeles, California, earning a Master's Degree in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. He continues to act, produce, and write in film and television. But as a life-long advocate for natural healing and harmonious living he now owns a Chinese Medicine practice in Studio City, California, that offers acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutritional counseling, and meditation.

Phillip Ward and American Idol rocker Chris Daughtry are from the same small town of McLeansville, North Carolina. In 2000, Deanna Daughtry(Chris' wife) became a massage therapy and Tai Chi student of Phillip Ward.
