Robert Westerholt was born on January 2, 1975 in Waddinxveen, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands. He is an actor and director, known for Lie Detector (2012), Mother Maiden (2011) and Within Temptation: Never Ending Story (2002).

Guitarist of the band Within Temptation.

Daughter Eva Luna was born 7th December 2005, mother is his long term girlfriend and Within Temptation lead singer Sharon den Adel.

He has a racing license and use to compete with the Unforgiving car.
