- Manolis Lidakis was born on February 28, 1960 in Heraklion, Greece. He was an actor and composer, known for Blackmail Boy (2003), Oi kekarmenoi (1986) and Peninta-peninta (2005). He died on February 26, 2025 in Kato Gouves, Crete, Greece.
- Began to engage in music from a very young age.
- At the age of nine, he began his musical studies in guitar, wind instruments and music theory. From 1970 to 1977 , he participated in the Heraklion Philharmonic Orchestra playing euphonium and trumpet.
- Manolis was supposed to have surgery in early September 2024, but streptococcus entered his knee and they had to clean it from the streptococcus, for the leg to swell up, for it to become healthy so that he could accept the arthroplasty. He was taking antibiotics for two months and his knee was like a soccer ball, very swollen.
- Although successful, he was never a part of the "life-style-boyzoukia" Greek music scene, he choose to live away from the bright lights of publicity and the gossip tv magazines.
- In 1982, he moved to Athens, where he took part in the TV show "Na I Efkairia" , while he also signed his first contract with a record company. Since then, he began singing professionally, while previously he sang in small taverns, nightclubs and music shops either in Athens, Crete or with his brother in Serres.
