Barney Elliott is a writer, director, and narrative designer whose work spans feature films, television, animation, and documentary. He is the co-creator, co-writer, and director of PTSD (Post-Trench Stress Disorder), the first animated Web3 series. Elliott recently served as Senior Edit Producer on The Real Galácticos, a six-part ESPN/Disney+ documentary featuring Ronaldo Nazário, Zinedine Zidane, David Beckham, Roberto Carlos, and Luís Figo.
He co-wrote and directed El Correcaminos, an action-comedy feature that premiered with a nationwide theatrical release across more than 100 cinemas in Peru. His debut feature, The Debt, starring Stephen Dorff, David Strathairn, and Carlos Bardem, was developed through Cannes Cinéfondation La Résidence and the Binger Filmlab in Amsterdam.
His short films - including True Colours, Autos Fantásticos, and Último Recurso - are multi-award-winning festival selections screened internationally.
Elliott was born and raised in the United States and has lived in Lima, Peru for nearly two decades, while frequently collaborating with creative and production partners across Europe.
