Biography

Matt is the Head of Documentary and Operations at Wallop Film in 'Vancouver', BC. His primary objective is to grow and develop their documentary department into an internationally successful name, aligned with nuanced and socially-aware stories told across a diversity of perspectives. He is particularly interested in the machinery of our society's institutions and systems and how they can clash with our humanity. With a background in directing and over 10 years in the film industry - Matt draws much of his inspiration from his homeland, Zimbabwe, where he was born and raised.
