Biography

Ryan Johnson is a shark scientist, television host and documentary filmmaker focusing on shark and marine documentaries. His regular stomping grounds are in Southern Africa, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Here you will find him exploring, researching and filming his favorite wildlife, both above and below the ocean surface. Whilst he is passionate about all of earth's animals and wild places, sharks play a special role for Ryan. For over 20 years he as conducted original research and filmed great white sharks and continues to be amazed by this species every day that he spends with them.
