Razvan Marinescu is a Romanian director, scriptwriter, actor, and producer based in Romania, with 20 years of experience in film and television. He wrote and directed several awarded short films, and is developing his first feature-length film "Kid Hazard". He directed and produced many music videos, corporate films and commercials. "Siel by Tohani" was awarded "Prix du meilleur film", corporate section, 2018 - at Oenovideo Film Festival, France.
Besides his artistic vision as a director, his great communication and team management skills make each of Razvan Marinescu’s films a flawless production. Razvan's style focuses on blending humor with emotional depth, and his films are recognized for their strong visual storytelling and complex characters.
He was born in April 9 1984 in Pitesti, Romania. He started working on sets at age 15 as a PA for a music video production company. He studied Management in ASE (Bucharest University of Economic Studies - 2003-2008), Acting in Spiru Haret University (2005-2007) and Film Directing in MediaPro University (2008-2010). In 2007, he plays first role in the movie "The Premonition". Known for acting in the TV series "Cu un pas inainte" (2007-2008), the shorts "The Drug Dealer" (2009) and "The Window" (2008) and for "The New Year That Never Came" (2024 Winner Venice Horizons Award Best Film) - Picture Vehicles Coordinator and "Atlas of the Universe" (2026 - Nominee Berlinale Generation Kplus - Best Film) - Acting Coach.
