Kavita Lad (sometimes credited as Kavita Lad-Medhekar) is a distinguished Indian actress known for her significant and enduring contributions across Marathi theatre, television, and film for over three decades.Lad established herself as a powerhouse in Marathi theatre, making her stage debut in the popular play Sundar Mi Honar. She is most celebrated for her highly successful, long-running on-stage partnership with actor Prashant Damle, which began with hits like Char Divas Premache and Eka Lagnachi Goshta. Their collaboration continues to be celebrated, notably in the successful sequel, Eka Lagnachi Pudhchi Goshta.In television, Lad has maintained a prominent presence across multiple decades. Her most recognized role is Anuradha Deshmukh in the epic Marathi serial Char Divas Sasuche, which aired for over a decade. She has since delivered critically praised performances in other acclaimed shows, including Umabai Kurlekar in the historical serial Unch Majha Zoka and recent roles like Bhuvaneshwari in Tula Shikvin Changalach Dhada.
