Garrett Hines is an actor, poet, and musician from New Orleans, Louisiana. While taking a Freshman English course, he wrote an essay which his professor encouraged him to adapt and perform as a one-man show entitled "Ghost". It was the first time he performed. Six months later, he was cast in his first speaking role on a prime time television show for FOX and kept on charging. Since then, he's appeared in such Oscar winning films as "The Big Short", "Trumbo", and "Deepwater Horizon", and TV shows such as "Homeland", "The Underground Railroad" and "NCIS". He can also be seen in the worldwide hit "Five Nights at Freddy's".

Is a poet and has work published in numerous literary journals including Gambit, Louisiana Road Trips, and Crack the Spine.

Became interested in scoring films when his original songs were used in the indie films &quot;Jake&#39;s Road&quot; and &quot;Room 321&quot;.

Was a panelist at the Tennessee Williams Literary Festival in New Orleans, where he gave a reading of his original short story &quot;Keya&quot;.

Is a songwriter and bassist for the Austin based rock band Slim The Wolf.

Appeared on the 2024 official Emmy Nomination Ballot for Outstanding Performance by a Guest Star for his role as Samual Cross in NCIS.
