Prosit Roy is an award-winning filmmaker known for crafting emotionally layered stories that seamlessly blend genre with grounded human drama. He made his feature directorial debut with Pari, the critically acclaimed horror drama starring Anushka Sharma, which established him as a distinctive new voice in Indian cinema. He went on to co-direct the landmark first season of Paatal Lok, one of India's most celebrated streaming series, earning widespread critical acclaim and winning the Filmfare OTT Award for Best Director. Most recently, Prosit served as the director and showrunner of Raakh Season 1, which emerged as a major success, becoming the #1 non-English series worldwide on Prime Video while receiving praise for its storytelling, performances, and cinematic vision. Alongside his long-form work, Prosit has built an acclaimed career in advertising, directing campaigns that combine strong visual storytelling with social impact.
