Biography

Susan Reimers (aka S. V. Reimers) is an author, musician, ex-animator and transgender rights advocate best known for her work on the Fox series "The PJs" (1999-2001). During her career as a cartoonist and animator, she was recognized for her comic book "My Mommy is a Lizard", which evolved into the Nickelodeon short "Bobby the Lizard Boy" (2001). Susan worked on a variety of Flash projects, such as a music video for Portland's The Punk Group (2007), and the political cartoon "Hailin' Pailin" (2008). After stepping down from her animation career In 2007 due to a degenerative eye condition, Susan earned a dual degree in law and social work (JD/MSW) at the University of Utah (2010-2014), and released her first book Ella Rosa and the Song of the Seirenes in 2020.
