- Adriana Paz was born on January 13, 1980 in Ciudad de México, México. She is an actress and producer, known for Emilia Pérez (2024), A Mouthful of Ash and 82nd Golden Globe Awards (2025).
- Attended and graduated from the School of Philosophy and Letters of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in Mexico City, Mexico.
- First Mexican actress to receive the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival. She shared the Best Actress award with much of her female co-stars from Emilia Pérez (2024).
- Is one of the few Mexican actors to be nominated for a Goya Award (Spanish Film Academy) for Best New Actress for her role in The Motive (2017).
- Winner of three consecutive Ariel Awards (Mexican Film Academy). Two for Best Supporting Actress for Hilda (2014) and Charity (2016). And one for Best Leading Actress for Perpetual Sadness (2014).
- She and her co-stars Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofía Gascón and Selena Gomez were each awarded Knights of the National Order of Arts and Letters by the French Minister of Culture on October 3, 2024 for their services to the film industry.
