  • Son of music hall ventriloquist Coram Whittaker. He usually worked with his wife Mimi Law in music halls, revues, which he often wrote and pantomimes in which he invariably played the dame In later years he and Mimi lived on the Isle of Wight where he was entertainments manager for the Esplanade Pavilion until his death. Brother-in-law was variety producer Jerry Jerome. Mimi Law died 27 June 2008 age 91 at Brinsworth House (an actors retirement home).
