Billy Whittaker was born on January 6, 1911 in Streatham, London, England, UK. He was an actor, known for Kipps (1960), The Dickie Henderson Show (1960) and Behave Yourself (1962). He was married to Mimi Law. He died on November 15, 1994 in Ryde, Isle of Wight, England, UK.

Son of music hall ventriloquist Coram Whittaker. He usually worked with his wife Mimi Law in music halls, revues, which he often wrote and pantomimes in which he invariably played the dame In later years he and Mimi lived on the Isle of Wight where he was entertainments manager for the Esplanade Pavilion until his death. Brother-in-law was variety producer Jerry Jerome. Mimi Law died 27 June 2008 age 91 at Brinsworth House (an actors retirement home).

Mimi had been on the stage since she was 3 and a professional from the age of 12 doing a variety act with her brother as The Bisto Kids.

His father, Tom Corran of Corran and Jerry was a well known ventriloquist.

Trained at Italia Conti Stage School then became one of the J.W, Jackson Boys.

Renowned as a panto dame.
