Olivier Panis was born on September 2, 1966 in Oullins, Rhône, France.

Panis' only Formula One victory came in the Monaco Grand Prix of 1996 with Ligier.

Champion: International Formula 3000 (1993), France Formule Renault (1989).

His hobbies are go-karts, skiing, cycling, tennis and sailing.

Teammates in Formula One were: Éric Bernard, Johnny Herbert, Franck Lagorce, Aguri Suzuki, Martin Brundle, Pedro Diniz, Shinji Nakano, Jarno Trulli, Jacques Villeneuve, Cristiano Da Matta and Ricardo Zonta.

Ex-Formula One racing driver, who raced for: Ligier (1994 (16 GPs)-1995 (17 GPs)-1996 (16 GPs)), Prost (1997 (10 GPs)-1998 (16 GPs)-1999 (16 GPs)), BAR (2001 (17 GPs)-2002 (17 GPs)), Toyota (2003 (16 GPs)-2004 (17 GPs)). He started 158 Grands Prix, 1 Win, 5 Podiums and 76 Points. Best ranked in the World Championship: 8th in 1995.
