- He and Lazaro Hernandez designed the fifth collection for Target's GO International line, under their Proenza Schouler label. The collection was sold exclusively in Target stores and on www.target.com, and was available from February 2, 2007 - May 5, 2007.
- Attended the Parsons School of Design, where he met Lazaro Hernandez in 1999. Working together on their thesis project, they combined their mothers' maiden names and called their line Proenza Schouler. They continue to design under this label.
- While a student at the Parsons School of Design, he interned at Marc Jacobs.
- Along with Lazaro Hernandez, won the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designer's of America) Perry Ellis Award in 2003 for new talent, for their work under the label Proenza Schouler.
