  • Damian Nixey is an Australian actor, producer, and digital specialist based in Sydney. He began his screen career in 1994, securing the lead role in "True Life Stories - The Steven Shuttleworth Story", part of Communicado's award-winning True Life Stories series, portraying a young gay man coming out. Smaller roles followed in episodes of "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" (1995) and "Young Hercules" (1998).

In 2023, he appeared as Thomas in Heath Davis's critically acclaimed feature "Christmess", continuing a screen career that spans both performance and production. His earlier credits include Brandon in the indie comedy "Malibu Crush" (2020) and a contribution to the production of the acclaimed psychological horror "The Babadook" (2014).

Damian moved to London in 1999 to further develop his craft, training at the Central School of Speech & Drama and later attending Ewan McGregor's Masterclass at the Royal Haymarket Theatre in 2008. Back in Sydney, he co-founded White Ronin Productions, a boutique studio specialising in VFX for independent films. He also attended Kriv Stenders's Directors Masterclass at Sydney Drama School in 2018 and completed Level 1 American accent training with voice coach Barbara Hastings.

Outside of acting, he serves as Digital Director for the Cause Film Festival (CFF), an annual event that supports charitable causes by amplifying filmmakers' work through social storytelling. He manages CFF's digital marketing and social media presence.
