Stephen Jackson was born on April 5, 1978 in Houston, Texas, USA. He is a producer and writer, known for All the Smoke with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson (2019), Johnson (2021) and The Best of All the Smoke with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson (2020). He has been married to Tammy Lee since December 2021. He was previously married to Renta Elizabeth White.

Has two children with his ex-fiancée, Imani Showalter.

Made NBA debut 31 October 2000.

Selected as the 14th pick in the second round ( 42nd overall) by the Phoenix Suns in the 1997 NBA draft.

Played in the NBA with the New Jersey Nets (2000-2001), San Antonio Spurs (2001-2003; (2011/12[end]-2012/13), Atlanta Hawks (2003-2004), Indianana Pacers (2004/05-2006/07 [start]), Golden State Warriors (2006/07 [end]-2009-10 [start]), Charlotte Bobcats (2009-10 [end]-2010/11), Milwaukee Bucks (2011/12[start]), and Los Angeles Clippers (2013-2014).
