Biography

Emily Thornberry was born on July 27, 1960 in Guildford, Surrey, England, UK. She has been married to Christopher George Nugee since July 1991. They have three children.

The Rt. Hon. Thornberry, MP Member of Parliament for Islington South and Finsbury, and lately Shadow Attorney General and Shadow Foreign Secretary was awarded the Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the 2025 King's New Years Honours List for her Political and Public Service in London, England.
