Born and raised in Alaska, Joe has been a merchant seaman, police
officer, and lawyer. A pilot since he was 17, he holds a commercial
license with instrument rating. His writing credits include newspaper
columns, an anthology of humor essays; his screenplays and films have
been winners at numerous film festivals and he has pitched networks on
his series and those of others.
