Biography

Kylie Morris is an award winning Australian journalist and broadcaster.

From 2014 to 2019 she was Washington correspondent for Britain’s Channel Four News, and covered among other things, the rise of Donald Trump, Black Lives Matter and the #MeToo movement.

She was part of the programme’s Emmy and Bafta winning team, that broke the story of Facebook, data harvesting and Cambridge Analytica.

Kylie has worked for twenty years as a foreign correspondent for both BBC and Channel Four News, in Europe, the Middle East and Asia; based in Gaza through the second intifada, in Kabul for the campaign against the Taliban, Basra and Baghdad through the Iraq war, and Bangkok for the Asian tsunami. She also anchored for Channel Four out of London and Washington.

She began her career with the ABC and last year returned to Newcastle NSW with her family.

She holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Newcastle, and an MSc. Econ. (International Relations) from the London School of Economics.
