Biography

Alexander Gowrie was born on November 26, 1939 in Ireland. He was married to Adelheid Gräfin von der Schulenburg and Alexandra Bingley. He died on September 24, 2021 in the UK.

2nd Earl of Gowrie, Conservative politician, and arts chairman. Brother of Malise Ruthven. Uncle of Chloe Ruthven. Bridget Helen Hore-Ruthven was his grandfather, the 1st Earl of Gowrie's niece.
