JJ Lehto was born on January 31, 1966 in Espoo, Finland.

A professional Finnish race car driver.

Ex-Formula One racing driver, who raced for: Onyx (1989 (2 GPs)-1990 (5 GPs)), Scuderia Italia (1991 (16 GPs)-1992 (15 GPs)), Sauber (1993 (16 GPs)-1994 (2 GPs)) and Benetton (1994 (6 GPs)). He started 62 Grands Prix, 1 Podium and 10 Points. Best ranked in the World Championship: 12th in 1991.

Champion: American Le Mans Series (2004), British Formula 3 (1988), Formula Ford 2000 Great Britain (1987), Formula Ford 2000 Europe (1987), Formula Ford 1600 (1986), Formula Ford Finland (1986).

2 wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans: 1995 and 2005.
