Felipe Massa was born on April 25, 1981 in São Paulo, Brazil. He is a director, known for Formula 1 (1950), Sistema Bruto (2022) and Formula 1: BBC Sport (2009). He has been married to Anna Rafaela Bassi since November 30, 2007. They have one child.

Ex-Formula One racing driver, who raced for Sauber (2002 (16 GPs), 2004 (18 GPs)-2005 (18 GPs)), Ferrari (2006 (18 GPs)-2007 (17 GPs)-2008 (18 GPs)-2009 (9 GPs)-2010 (19 GPs)-2011 (19 GPs)-2012 (20 GPs)-2013 (19 GPs)) and Williams (2014 (19 GPs)-2015 (19 GPs)-2016 (21 GPs)-2017 (19 GPs)). He started 269 Grands Prix, 11 Wins, 16 Pole Positions, 15 Fastest Laps, 41 Podiums and 1167 Points. Best ranked in the World Championship: 2nd in 2008.

He started his F1 career in 2002 with Sauber team. In 2003 he was testing for Ferrari and returned to Sauber as a race driver in 2004-2005. 2006-2013, he joined Ferrari team as a second race driver. In 2014 he joined Williams and finished in 2017 season.

Overcoming a poor start to the 2008 Formula 1 Season, Massa was still in the hunt for a first crown at the season-ending Brazilian GP and a serene home victory in the wet at Interlagos famously made him 'world champion for 30 seconds'. In a stunning twist, Hamilton passed Glock's dry shod Toyota for fifth on the very last corner. A disconsolate but justifiably proud Massa lost the title by a single point.
