Collins-Rector's career in technology and media began with the founding of early ventures like World TravelNet in 1984 and Concentric Research in 1991, an early internet service provider that expanded nationwide. Leveraging his background in network infrastructure, he co-founded the Digital Entertainment Network (DEN) in the late 1990s alongside Chad Shackley and Brock Pierce. Under his leadership as chairman, DEN aimed to revolutionize broadcasting by creating a digital, multi-channel streaming platform focused on youth culture and teen-oriented content.
