Biography

Yair Vardi was born on May 29, 1948 in Kibbutz Kfar Blum, Upper Galilee, Israel. He was an actor, known for Lo Kolel Sherut (1990) and Cruel Garden (1982). He died on May 25, 2025 in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Director of the Suzanne Dellal Centre in Israel upon its founding.

Founded English Dance Theatre, as well as a center for dance called Dancity in Newcastle, England.

In 1977 he was awarded the Kinor David Prize.

Danced with Ballet Rambert in London.
