He went on to complete his Bachelor’s in Film at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, grounding his creativity in a strong technical and academic foundation. Edmonds has directed numerous award-winning short films and two feature-length projects, each showcasing his signature fusion of practical effects, emotional intensity, and genre-bending style. A lifelong student of cinema, Edmonds has watched and analyzed thousands of films across every genre, drawing deep inspiration from visionary auteurs like Stanley Kubrick, David Lynch, Lucio Fulci, and Rob Zombie. His love of surrealist art-especially the work of Salvador Dalí can be seen in the dreamlike imagery and psychological tension that define his more experimental films.
