Cláudia Mergulhão was born on November 27, 1976 in Almada, Portugal. She is an actress, known for Débora (1998), A Mulher do Sr. Ministro (1994) and Médico de Família (1998).

Descendant of the Pinto Cabral Mergulhão and the Freire de Andrade Coutinho Bandeira Noble families, the second of which related to the mother of the 1st Baron of Pombeiro de Riba Vizela Nobleman of Coat of Arms of de Melo (crest), de Sampaio, de Freitas and do Amaral with crown of Baron.

Her maternal grandmother is Brazilian and has some African descent.
