Biography

Svetlana Loboda was born on October 18, 1982 in Kyiv, Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, Soviet Union [now Kyiv, Ukraine]. She is an actress, known for Corporal vs. Napoleon (2012), Lindemann: Frau & Mann (2019) and Sorochinskaya yarmarka (2004).

She was a member of the Russian/Ukrainian girl-group VIA Gra (AKA Nu Virgos) from May 2004, when she was invited to join as the replacement for Anna Sedokova, who had left to get married, through the end of September 2004, when she returned to her solo musical career.

Represented Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 and finished in 12th place with 76 points.

Honored Artist of Ukraine (2013).

Has two daughters - Evangelina Tsar (b. April 9, 2011, Kyiv, Ukraine) with her ex-boyfriend Andrey Tsar, and Tilda (b. May 23, 2018, Los Angeles, California, USA).

In October 2018, she underwent emergency surgery to remove a kidney stone. She took time off until January 2019 to recover.
