- Farzin Gharahgozloo born in Tehran in 1980, is a Pianist, musician & film composer. As a young child he began to play piano & learn music Theory at the age of 5 and completed his music first studies in the "Center For Preservation & Dissemination of Music" in Tehran/Iran. He composed his first Theater music for "Death & Metaphor (1997)"/directed by "Reza Keshavarz". Farzin completed his music education in Sweden "Royal College of Music in Stockholm" University. His first score composed on "The Boss (2006)" directed by one of Iranian legend directors "Masud Kimiai" & continued with him on "Trial in The Street (2009)" Movie. Farzin also works on many "TV Series" & "Documentaries" in Iran. He tries to integrate different styles of music & instruments together to create new feelings & different touch of music. He won the Best Score "Golden Jasmine" in the "Third Jasmine International Film Festival" for "Buried Alive (2015)" directed by "Ali Jenab". Also his music for "Darkhoongah (2019)" directed by "Siavash As'adi" was nominated For Best Original Motion Picture in the "Twentieth Hafez Ceremony Film Festival (2020)". One of his successful cooperation's was in "The Trace of My Fingers" & "Kissing The Butterfly's Wings" albums with talented violin player "Ali Jafari Pouyan"/(Music Department) which was a selection of famous Iranian cinema pieces. He also composed & arranged "Pop Songs" & "Soundtrack Themes" for many Singers as : Aref, Ebi, Reza Sadeghi (Posht-e Baam-e Tehran/2015), Mani Rahnama, Reza Yazdani (Trial On The Street/2009), Ruzbeh Nematollahi (Asr-e Payeezi/2013), Mohamadreza Alimardani, Gholam Koveytipour (Silence/2009) & ... The album "Silence (Khamoosh)/(2009)" with Koveytipours Vocal was one of the most different & notable albums in "Persian Religious" music style & got success in most Arabic & Muslim countries. Farzin also composed instrumental albums in "Berlin School Electronic Music" Style named : "Ultramundane (1994)", "Positron (1995)", "Empyreal (1996)" and "Quantum (1997)" "Instinct (2021)" is his second Cooperation with "Siavash As'adi" as a composer.
