Biography

Kennedy was born in Singapore and grew up living abroad in Mexico, Malaysia and Hong Kong. He moved to the United States to attend college at Santa Clara University where he was a attracted to the Jesuit Tradition of Education. He played Soccer at University and his team, the Broncos, won the National Championship during his Junior year. In college he was offered a scholarship in Theatre and he decided to dedicate himself to Acting. Upon graduation he won the prestigious William H. Leahy prize for outstanding contribution to the Theatre Arts. He moved to New York to attend the National Shakespeare Conservatory where their motto was to train "The Complete Actor". While at The National Shakespeare Conservatory he was awarded a professional internship with the Jean Cocteau Repertory Theatre company- an award winning classical acting company. He spent years as a resident company member of the Cocteau performing in everything from Shakespeare and Shaw to Becket and Brecht. During this time Kennedy began to teach Voice, Movement and Acting Styles to actors in New York- at New York University. Since then, his teaching has brought him to Los Angeles where he teaches in several competitive actor training programs. In the past year, with the encouragement and support of family, friends and students Kennedy began to explore a career in acting once again.
