  • In 1948, she appeared on stage at a "Concert of the Laureates" at the Antwerp Conservatory. She had won a first prize in virtuosity at the time.
  • She was married to lawyer and businessman Jan Debeuckelaere.
  • She studied at the Flemish Conservatory (Willem Ravelli) in her native Antwerp and at the Hague Conservatory. She also studied in Salzburg (Mozarteum with Ria Ginster) and Hamburg (with Peter Markwort).
  • Her voice and image have been preserved through the 1959 musical film ''Het gedicht van minnegod en zotheid' (1959) produced by by the Flemish National Institute of Radio Broadcasting.
