Mike Bowers is a highly regarded Australian photojournalist. While he is a journalist, his primary medium and expertise lie in photography, particularly in capturing political moments. He has spent over 37 years in the Federal Parliamentary Press Gallery in Australia, making him one of the most experienced political photographers in the country. He has covered 13 federal election campaigns and accompanied ten Prime Ministers on assignments both within Australia and overseas.
