Armand Vaillancourt was born on September 3, 1929 in Black Lake, Québec, Canada. He is an actor, known for La Pharmacie de l'espoir (2005), On the Spot (1953) and Vaillancourt: regarde si c'est beau (2019).

Sculptor, painter and stage designer.

Suzanne Verdal, his girlfriend in the 1960s, is the woman who inspired the eponymous song by Leonard Cohen.
