[on the challenge in 2014 of composing country songs] I don't like it when people try to pretty up a situation. Yeah, it's kind of a tough economy and people may want to get their minds off that, but they also want to feel like they're being related to. Even it it's kind of bleak or depressing, maybe they take comfort inn the fact they're not alone.
