Pearl Jr is a graduate of the highly acclaim California State University, Northridge Radio/TV/Film class of 1989 to which she completed two years of college in one year.
Elbow Grease Productions became a licensed media company in 2004. The owners, Pearl Jr and Cecil Holmes' first venture was a daily 30-minute leased access TV show called "Trutalk: Straight Outta LA" that was available to over a million people in the Greatest Los Angeles area, whereas Pearl Jr was the producer and host. Due to this TV program, Elbow Grease Productions was credentialed media at Michael Jackson's 2005 trial. Out of that coverage, the documentary "Michael Jackson The Trial and Triumph of the King of Pop" was produced and later distributed by Warner Bros and was available in over 50 million homes throughout the USA, plus was distributed worldwide, including passing China's rigorous censorship board.
Elbow Grease Productions also produced the historic documentary, which was the first of it's kind that was based on Barack Obama being the first African American President called "Barack Obama, The Power of Change".
Pearl Jr has appeared on Aphrodite Jones' "True Crime" TV show and has been on TV News several times, plus was a regular commentator on KABC talk radio, as well as dozens of other radio programs.
Elbow Grease Productions continued to cover Michael Jackson related events and was also credentialed to cover Dr. Conrad Murray's manslaughter trial and Katherine Jackson vs. AEGLive trial. As the death of Michael Jackson shocked the world, it was Michael Jackson's vast and active worldwide fan base that contacted Elbow Grease Productions to further research his "death" due to all the coincidences, inaccuracies, fallacies, sloppy documentation, inconsistencies, smoke and mirror trickery, and suspicious activities that surrounded the "death" of the King of Pop.
